Revival Mcnary 4/28/11

Wow we had an amazing time at the revival in McNary. There was great music, awesome testamonies of the wonderful things God has done in peoples lives, more great music, and some great preaching. Then The Holy Spirit moved on the people and we celebrated the freedom that comes in the release from bondage.  They will be having it nightly at 7:30 till Sat. Unfortunately this was the only night we could attend as we are preparing for the revival in Hobbs.
We began with an opening prayer for the area and the people claiming McNary for God!
Praying for McNary
Worshiping God

Riverside's Praise and Worship Team
Bringing a word from the Lord
 There is Hope for a dark world if we will just try God! He can fulfill all the desires of your heart. He came to loose the bondage and set the captives free!!! He can heal your heart, mend your relationships, restore your mind, fulfill that emptiness within.
The crowd!

Psalms 86

God is Good!

Minister Lane Bringing forth the word.
 We began in Romans 9, went to Genesis 1, Jeremiah 1, Matt 5:14, Know Jesus came to save that which was lost. He has a plan and a purpose for Your life! It is time to be like the centurion servant "Just speak the word Lord and it will be done" Press in and have faith in all that God can do! He can deliver you from drugs, alcohol, addiction, depression, torment, anything that satan is trying to use against you. The Devil is a Liar! Press in. Be like the woman with the issue of blood. She was determined. She was not going to allow anyone to get in her way or hold her back from what God had for her. She was willing to say excuse me and ask people to move so she could press to touch the hem of His Garment. We need to get that hungry for Jesus. Forget those around you who are trying to hold you back! Press forth! Get to the alter and tell God I will stay and wait until you give me what I need to go on. Be determined. Come on church! Move, Get out the way! I'm going to get to God no matter what it takes!!!!
Awesome to see God moving!What a Blessing.

This gentleman had only just gotten saved the night before. He came up for prayer and God moved mightily upon his heart. It was prophesied that his life would never be the same. God is calling him forth and would help him in every area. There was another young woman who stepped up to give her life to the Lord and was touched by the Holy Spirit. God poured out a spirit of forgiveness between her and her mother and God set them on the path to restoring their relationship. Then she was welcomed into the church by the members. Soo awesome to see the love of God. Also there was another couple there that God is calling into a ministry of helps. Thank you Lord for giving people hope, direction, and great grace to do your will.

Sat night services

Wow. That is all I can say about church last night. It was Awesome!!!! We had our first service in the new building and it was amazing. If you have never joined us for service you are missing out.

 This is our building!
our sanctuary

Pastor began service out of  Revelations 19:9-15
Revelation 19:9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11  ¶And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Our Jesus is a warrior!!!
then went on to speak out of Eph 6 in regards to the armor of God.
We have to remember it is a spiritual thing. We are in a fight against Satan. Are you willing to fight to accomplish Gods  will on earth? For your family, for the church? Against generational curses?

We have a warfare anointing. We are called to tear down strongholds and demonic activity in high places. Take up your authority in Jesus Name. Philippians 4:13 Not your strength but by the strength of the Holy spirit living in you.  Jesus said he will dwell with them 1 John 4:13

We are taught by the scripture not to mix paganism with the gospel yet people are doing just that all the time. Don't mix these worldly holidays with the gospel of our lord. Jesus told us to do what in remembrance of Him?

Luke 22:15  And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16  For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18  For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19  And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20  Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

The bible tells us in Romans 5:20  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:If there is More grace( which is not only favor from God but Strength as well) then when you fall into temptation know that God will give you strength all the more to come out of it that you may walk according to the spirit and not the flesh. Gal 5:16

We need to be prepared and ready. The anti-christ could stand up at any time now according to the word of God. Keep your focus!!  Remember all that Jesus has done for you. Remember all the promises he has given us. Things here will fade.

We have to know we were sent here for a purpose. Rom 9 tells us that the children not yet born....God knew us from the foundations of the world. Mama knows you as (fill in your name) but God knows you by another name that no man knows( Rev 2, 3)  Jesus came to reveal to us who we really are. (John 9) to open our eyes to the truth. There is more then what is going on in this earth. Once God has called you you are his child. Jesus told us he came to save that which WAS lost.( Matt 18:11)  lost from where?

God is looking for some non-compromising Christians. Are you going to compromise?
In Rev 19 & Eze 39 God calls for the fowls of the air to eat the flesh of all that was destroyed by the brightness of  Jesus return. Wicked are destroyed not the righteous.
Saints praising God
God calls the people who are not His bastards in `Hebrews 12:8 . Why does God say this/ Because these are people who don't recognize their daddy. Even unbelievers recognize that something is coming. Wake up church it is going to happen!!God is speaking to people in their spirits at this time. He is trying to show you what he wants you to do.

Racism is wrong. God made everyone. Can have no hatred in your heart and expect for God to take you to heaven. There is NO hatred in heaven. Jesus wasn't politically correct. If you are offended by the word of God then you do not belong to Him.
John 8:32 Ex 20:18-20
Get the I can't out of your mouth. Phill 4:13
What does the word need today? God the way He showed himself after he gave the 10 commandments. The people saw God and were afraid.  The Church is lacking the fear of God. He is an all consuming fire- Deut 4:24 & Heb 12:29. The Bible tells us it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God-Heb 10:31.
Jesus brought us the words of God-Jn 14:24. Satan is trying to bring Pride into the leadership of the church. No one has arrived yet, we are all learning. Jesus told us there is none good, not one.-matt19:17. We must know that these 3 are one, Father, Son & Spirit-matt 28:19. Remember God doesn't see like man sees God sees the heart. What is in God the Father is in God the Son is in God the Spirit. Three and yet one.

Mon night Bible Study

Wow what God will do when two or more are gathered in Jesus name. It was a great time of sharing and learning last night. We had a couple visitors and God used Pastor to summarize all of the revelation and knowledge we have received over these last months. It was awesome.

As last night was the beginning of Passover I wanted to share the information we have learned. Finding the line between tradition/religion/legalism and yet still honoring the word of God and doing all that he asks us to in order to be in relationship with Him is a learning process for us all.

short definition of passover from wikipedia

The redemption from the bondage of sin through the sacrifice of Christ is celebrated, a parallel of the Jewish Passover's celebration of redemption from bondage in the land of Egypt.[1]

The Epistle to the Hebrews states that the sacrificial killing of animals could not finally take away sin, but awaited the atonement of Christ. (Hebrews 10). It proceeds to explain that Jesus Christ offered the one sacrifice that was acceptable to God, and that he lives forever as the believers' intercessory high priest, replacing the Jewish sacrificial system and its sacerdotal priesthood. Most Christians consider the external ritual of sacrifice instituted in the Old Testament by God to be a precursor of the self-sacrifice offered by Jesus. For this reason, Jesus is called the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29 ).

The main Christian view[citation needed] is that the Passover, as observed by ancient Israel, was a type of the true Passover Sacrifice of God that was to be made by Jesus. The Israelites' Passover observance was the commemoration of their physical deliverance from bondage in Egypt, whereas Passover represents for most Christians a spiritual deliverance from the slavery of sin (John 8:34) and, since Jesus' death, a memorial of the sacrifice that Jesus has made for mankind.In addition, as the Israelites partook of the Passover sacrifice by eating it, most Christians commemorate the Lord's unselfish death by taking part in the Lord's Supper, which ordinance Jesus instituted (1Corinthians 11:15-34,Luke 22:19-20 ), in which the elements of bread and wine are reverently consumed. Most Protestants see the elements as symbolic of Jesus' body and blood,

The spiritual theme of Passover is one of salvation by the atoning blood of a perfect, spotless sacrificed lamb. At the very beginning of the Abrahamic Covenant, the promise had been given by the God of Abraham that "God would provide Himself a lamb." (Genesis 22:8) For many Christians, this is the spiritual pattern seen in Passover which gives it its eternal meaning and significance. The theme is carried on and brought to its ultimate New Covenant fulfillment in the sacrificial death of Christ as the promised Sacrificed Lamb.[citation needed]

Some follow the instructions that Jesus gave to his disciples at the time of his last Passover meal before he was crucified, and share instead of roasted lamb, unleavened bread and wine.[2] In the Christian Passover service the unleavened bread is used to represent Jesus' body, and wine represents his blood of the New Covenant. These are a symbolic substitute for Jesus as the true sacrificial Passover "Lamb of God" (John 1:29). It should also be noted that Passover day is followed in the Scriptures by seven days of unleavened bread (Exodus 12:1-15). These days have a great dual significance to the observant Christian. Just as leavening causes bread to be puffed up, so sin causes Christians to be "puffed up" with the sin of "malice and wickedness," and therefore must "purge out" that "old leaven" and replace it with "the unleavened bread of and truth" (1Corinthians 5:1-15). Therefore, in the Christian Passover service Christ's body is represented by unleavened bread symbolizing his sinless life, for he alone had no sin (1Peter 2:21-22). Since these Scriptures indicate that during the seven days of unleavened bread, leavening represents sin and unleavened bread represents righteousness, when Christians remove leavening during these days they are reminded to put sin out of their lives.

The sader/passover plate
Seder Plate

There are a number of foods eaten during the ritual Seder family meal partaken on the first two nights of Passover. Family customs may vary the items served at the Seder, but the following food items traditionally appear on the Seder plate:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.   Charoset is mixture of apples, nuts, wine and spices.
Charoset is symbolic of the mortar the Jewish slaves made in their building for the Egyptians. To make charoset, prepare 1 cup of walnuts, 1 granny smith green apple, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tsp. sugar, and red wine to moisten.  Chop the nuts and apples to the consistency you want (a
food processor can be used). Sprinkle with spices, and moisten with wine. The texture of the charoset should remind us of mortar.
2.   Zeroa is a shankbone or neck of poultry, roasted.
Zeroa is a reminder of the "mighty arm of G-d" as the Bible describes it. It is also symbolic of the Paschal lamb offered as the Passover sacrifice in Temple days. Roast the shankbone in the oven for about 30 minutes.
3.   Baytzah is hard-boiled egg.
Baytzah is symbolic of the regular festival sacrifice brought in the days of the Temple. Some authorities have interpreted this as a symbol of mourning for the loss of the two Temples (the first was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C.E., the second by the Romans in 70 C.E.). With the Temples destroyed, sacrifices could no longer be offered. The egg symbolized this loss and traditionally became the food of mourners.
4.   Karpas is a vegetable. Parsley or a potato is generally used.
Karpas is dipped in salt water to represent tears. The custom of serving karpas dates back to Jerusalem of the 1st and 2nd centuries when it was common to begin a formal meal by passing around vegetables as hors d’oeuvres.
5.   Maror is bitter herbs. Horseradish root or prepared horseradish is generally used.
Maror represents the bitter life of the Israelites during the time of their enslavement in Egypt.
6.   Chazeret is a bitter vegetable. Celery or lettuce can be used.
Those who do not put chazeret on their Seder Plate sometimes put a dish of salt water in its place.
Remember that it is Gods way or the highway!
We must accept The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! 1 John 5:7-8
Who is the clay to the potter how we think it should be or what we want anyways! Jer 18
There will always be wicked trying to come in amongst the righteous.Saul had been disobedient in 1 Sam 15 and David even knew not to touch the anointed of God-1 Samuel 24:6.Remember the children of Israel after they had left Egypt and Dathan &Korah in Numb 16. They rebelled against the God given authority of Moses.
Notes from service
1 Kings 2:1-24
We need to remember how those in God's word behaved. They are our examples.
David told Solomon- To prove that he was a Man he had to follow the ways of the Lord. -We have to understand without the help of the Holy Spirit it is not an easy thing to walk in God's ways.
Know where you are going. Be sure that you are headed to Heaven. God  has a mansion with your name on it waiting on you.- book of Enoch, John 14- Be sure your name has been written in the Lambs book of life.
Do you have discernment? In these days and times we have to know the truth from a lie. They are doing all they can to shut up Holy Spirit filled preachers. Don't  believe everything they tell you. Any day now they will be saying our alien brothers are here to help. we've made contact. Don't believe it know the truth.
Remember EVERYTHING you have you were loaned. Naked you came into this world and naked you will leave. Your soul is all that w9ll go with you, not your house, not your car, not your kids, not your family. Know that your heart is right before God.
1 Kings 2:7- Ref 2 Sam 17:27-29 Absalom saw David as a man- with less respect then the King deserved.
vs 11- David reigned 40 years - what numeric significance is there elsewhere in the bible with 40 years?
vs 24- He was going to be punished for trying to manipulate the King. In those days the judgements were harsher, and immediately done.
- David represented judgement and righteousness in the earth at that time. He was a type in the natural of what Jesus would be in the spiritual now.
1 Peter 4:17-Judgement has begun at the house of the Lord. God is bringing His children into Holiness, and Sanctification.- This is the season of The Holy Spirit- If you are being obedient to the word of God, he will abide with you. God is going to show up and show out for His children. Watch your words, actions, what you allow to go on around you and God's glory will reside with you.
Its time to Live ready, be ready, act ready, stay ready! Separate yourselves from ungodly people. If you have tried to share the good news of Christ with them and they are rejecting it you have done your part. Bad company corrupts good morals. Yes they will talk about you. so! Keep your focus, God will judge us all in the end. If they reject Him, he will play back the times you tried to share with them to them.  Then they will be sorry they didn't listen. Pray for them. God can call anyone, It is He who has to do the calling, man can save no one, Only Jesus can save you.
1 Cor 15:51 We shall all be changed. They will see then. We are to be as kings and priests unto God-Revelation 5:10`- Time to slap the devil down! This is not a baby ministry or for baby Christians.
John 10:13-22
vs 20- many said Jesus had a Devil so if they are talking about you don't be offended.
1 Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Don't live you life as Lots wife- looking backwards- No Looking back- move forward with Jesus. Press in and focus on Him. Don't let anybody get between you and Jesus. Have to have constant communication with Jesus. let go of your grudges. FORGIVE!!!!! Stay open before God. Confess your sins get right before Him.
John 12:21-36 ,44-50
Moses was a representative of Jesus in the earth. He cried before God on the peoples behalf often. Remember the children of Israel. Don't see yourself as just an ordinary person. The Jesus we serve is extraordinary. Be extraordinary. If you have the Holy Spirit truly the Love of Christ should be shed abroad in your heart.
Think on Heaven. None of this junk down here will be in Heaven. Rev 21 No drama in heaven. Sad to think the devil knows the whole bible & he will be burning in Hell. Its more then just reading and knowing the words. We have to have a relationship.  The devil if fighting so hard and soo angry because he can't go back to heaven.
John 14:24
Acts 3:1-8
Acts 3:4- They told him to look at them not their hands. We have to remember to continue to look to the giver( God) not at the gifts.
That man was EXPECTING. Every day he was expecting. He didn't know the divine appointment God had set up for Him that day.  He was expecting everyday. When you come together with another believer. Get together in expectation.
Women's Wed night Bible study
Definition of DEPENDENCE
1: the quality or state of being dependent; especially : the quality or state of being influenced or determined by or subject to another
2: reliance, trust
3: one that is relied on
When we depend on anyone or anything other than God we will almost always be disappointed.Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7  ¶Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Knowing God will often use other people to bless us means we have to lay down our pride and receive.  But whether from man or God we have to remember all things originate from Him. John 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Also learning to ask for help, advise, assistance, and trusting that by our stepping out in faith He will provide for our need. What are you dependent on other then God?
Is it superficial (i.e. cloths, hairstyles, makeup, jewelry, nails), food, medicine, or even money? People, places, things? How often do we get caught up with the cares of this life and lose our focus? God must come first in ALL things. As women we long to feel a sense of stability and security in every area. God can fulfill that in a way that no man or thing ever can. We have to seek Him to be our security in our home, jobs, friends, finances, marriage, even emotional stability.
We are to be so focused on Him that the cares of this life pass away.Luke 8:14  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
He is to be our Happiness-`Psalms 30:11  Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;12  To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.`
Security-`Proverbs 18:10  ¶The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.`Jeremiah 32:27  Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Joy- `Nehemiah 8:10  Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Peace-John 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Stability-`Malachi 3:6  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.  Matthew 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Revelation 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Strength-`Psalms 18:32  It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.Romans 4:20  He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Fullness-Psalms 16:11  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.Ephesians 3:19  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Fulfillment-`Psalms 84:11  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.`Psalms 107:9  For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.`
Love-Psalms 63:3  ¶Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.Psalms 136
Deliverance-  Hosea 13:4  Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
These things will all come from Him when we seek Him 1st. If we are having our needs met by God then all other interactions with friends, family, co-workers (when good) can be seen as a blessing no matter how small because we are not looking to them to fulfill our needs. It will also allow us to have more then sufficient to give to others.We will have enough left to give, left to fight satan, left to forgive, left to pour out of ourselves in service for Him.
If tonight God came to you and said this night your soul is required of you, as in Luke 12 . What would your reaction be? How would you answer Him? Jesus taught us that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Light (John 14:6 ) Do you trust Him completely with everything? Do you have confidence that you are living in obedience that even if He were to take you home tonight that He would have everything you are responsible for now taken care of?  He has to be our #1 focus. Not even our selves and our responsibilities that he has given us can take priority over Him. Every day our prayer needs to be what can I do/ be for you today Jesus?
When we are young we have to ask Mom for and about everything. What we can eat, drink, wear, where we can go, who we can be with. God give this as an example on both ends of it I believe. He wants that relationship with us. Where we look to Him for our answers and guidence. As your children grow and mature we allow them to make decisions and act on their own. But how awesome it is when they still want your opinion or advice. God has given us His opinion snd advice in all things thru His word. In prayer he will also guide you. Have you reached maturity enough to not have to ask every time yet? Do you know how God thinks or feels about any particular situations? Do you take those things into consideration every time? Do you have those around you who you can be confident that they will give you Godly advice if you feel you need assistance? Would you actually listen and do what the bible says even if it is contrary to how you are feeling? In Proverbs 2 it tells us wisdom goes up and down the street calling and looking for those who would listen. Are we willing to listen? Willing to obey? Is your own pride  or sense of how you feel about it getting in your way?  We know that Pride is a sin we all can fall into.And that all that follows is pain and sorrow.Proverbs  John sums sin up in 1 John 2:16  he tells us all sin is either lust or pride. And in 1John 1: if we say we have no sin we are liars and in double sin.
Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness in Matt 4. What did he try and tempt our Lord with? Lust and Pride. Lust of the eyes- things that looked good, food after 40 days, the treasure of the world. Lust of the flesh- safety, well being, life in the flesh, wealth, comfort.
And finally the Pride of Life- power and wealth, things.
The bible tells us in Heb 2:18 that Jesus suffered all manner of temptation and yet was without sin.  Thats why he is our example. No human has or will ever succeed but we are to strive.`Luke 13:24  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.`
When you think about Jesus and the way he would view your life, do you think he is pleased? Does he see you being all that he has called you to be? Are you striving to be that person or have you decided that its just too hard and given up? We need to fight the good fight and race till the end.`1 Corinthians 9:24  ¶Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.`
Is Gods way the easiest? Or the fastest? It doesn't always look or feel that way but in retrospect the answer is always yes.
Do you seek Him? The rewards and the fullness you recieve are far better then anything this earth has to offer. Feeling like you are out of direction and purpose? Seek Jesus.
`Jeremiah 24:7  And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.`
